About Me
CURRENT MISSION
Travel around the world, meet new people, see new sights and try to see things from many different perspectives. To observe, to learn and to grow.
I am a student, the world is my classroom and the wonderful people I meet are my teachers. :)
Currently been travelling since July 2016 with no plans to stop!
Travelled till September 2016 with a group of 3 other friends. Since then been either travelling solo or with my girlfriend Miranda :D Profile here for hosts:

ABOUT ME
I'm a very laid back, easygoing guy that is looking to travel long-term - as long as the money and the will to travel lasts! Currently roaming far and wide in search of good experiences, good people and good times. I am quite self sufficient and independent, I can take care of myself and keep myself entertained - I've been told I have quite a good sense of humor as well so perhaps I can give you a laugh at some point. :D I try to travel cheaply, as once my funds run out then I'll be returning home but I would like to postpone that for as long as I can! I am vegan/vegetarian, but not too fussy about it and will eat what I am given or make stuff myself so don't worry too much about having to cook specifically vegan food.
PHILOSOPHY
Basically I try to treat everybody equally, I like to give everyone a chance. I try to work with a goal of limiting any actions that cause other people pain. I'm not perfect but I try to work towards a net overall happiness increase in the largest amount of people. While travelling I've realised that even bad things can just be hidden good things, and that everything will work out if you keep a positive state of mind and go with the flow. :) Why stress? Enjoy the present moment and just be.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
Currently I am travelling with no end in sight, so for now I am just a surfer on this wave of life. When I return to Australia one day I intend to return the generosity I have felt all over the world. I really like couchsurfing as it is an excellent way to meet people you would never meet otherwise. I can afford a hostel but I find I have a much better time and develop deeper connections when couchsurfing :)
Interests
My interests are quite varied, but I am particularly interested in altered states of mind. Psychology, lucid dreaming, psychedelics, virtual reality, meditation - they all fascinate me. I really enjoy having deep and complex talks about nearly anything, I usually find anything interesting from the right perspective. Absolutely love late night talks about the nature of reality, humanity, life, death, politics, society, religion, history or anything really. :) I love nature, so hiking and camping I find really nice. History is another passion of mine, if we do not learn from the past we are doomed to repeat our mistakes. Big interest in science and technology as well, I would describe myself as a futurist. I also like to write, currently finished the first draft of my first novel.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
One of the most amazing things I've done was attend OZORA 2016 music festival. Such a wonderful, transformative and beautiful experience. Awesome people, awesome music and awesome workshops - I learnt and grew a lot. :) Hopefully I can return for 2017!
Teach, Learn, Share
I love to learn new things, so I'm interested in learning nearly anything you can teach me! :D I'm quite eager to learn more about various different meditation styles and camping skills at the moment. On the off chance you know anything about taming Ravens I will be bombarding you with questions just a heads up! :P
I am knowledgeable on lucid dreaming and psychedelics and would love to share the information I have on this and discuss this with anyone interested.
I've also got experience in frugal/cheap travel so I can always impart what I know about that.
What I Can Share with Hosts
An enthusiastic passion for life! If you like deep conversations than I can definitely do that as well, always up for a good chat on those sort of things that go beyond "normal" conversations. I love to share perspectives, stories and experiences - when we both do and we listen we both grow :) I'm also a big fan of potatoes and onions so I would be happy to cook a meal with these beautiful vegetables :3
