Overview
About Me
I am a passionate cyclist and musician. I am a graduate of the Bachelor of Health and Medical Sciences (Advanced) stream at the University of Adelaide. I try my best to prioritise travelling over buying inanimate things. I also work as much as I can my dad's shop (when I'm not outside riding my bicycle or inside playing my guitar). I love making things.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
To make travelling more accessible for myself and others from all around the world, and to meet new, exciting, and interesting people. I love showing people what's so great about where I live, and sharing the local knowledge that makes travelling so beautiful.
Interests
I have fallen in love with cycling over the last few years, and it has saved my life. The friends I have made so far are lifelong, and the places I have discovered are innumerable. Only recently have I decided to combine this love with my love of worldwide travel, and I look forward to seeing much of Europe with great interest! Music has been my most enduring passion, however, and I find it easy to bond with people whenever someone else takes an interest in what I'm listening to, who I'm seeing in concert, and what I'm playing.

Music, Movies, and Books
Hiatus Kaiyote/Nai Palm - completely life-changing. If you don't know this music, you'll find out when you meet me! From Hendrix to Esperanza Spalding, to the Roots, to Antonio Carlos Jobim, Bonobo, Rage Against the Machine, I have a reasonably diverse taste, and love hearing new things! Good Will Hunting, Le Havre, Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind, the Matrix. I've let myself down with reading in recent times but hope to read more as I travel. I am currently re-reading some Star Wars books from my childhood (Revan!!!) as I am a huge KOTOR fan.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
I crashed my time trial bicycle in training in 2017. I broke 13 bones and punctured a lung. Somehow I recovered quickly enough to be back outside within four weeks, less than a third of the recovery time I was given by specialists. There are countless comeback stories about returning to the thing you love doing after a life-threatening injury, but it wasn't until I had to go through it myself that I realised how difficult it really is. I proved to myself that I am resilient, driven, and passionate about living a full life.
