About Me
CURRENT MISSION
To host and surf in an effort to see the world and all of its great people.
ABOUT ME
I have traveled some, but I will never have traveled enough so that is why I am here! I thoroughly enjoy meeting people who are different than I am, makes things interesting! I am an avid outdoor enthusiast (mostly in Colorado) and I am either doing something outside or plotting my next adventure. Currently a city dweller in Baltimore, Maryland and enjoy the thick of history that surrounds us. Sharing this history is the best so all the more better to host and meet travelers looking to learn a lot about this area of the East Coast.
PHILOSOPHY
Be open minded. No one is going to see things the same way you or I do so all the more reason to listen! Love good conversation with anyone. In terms of a life philosophy I want to enjoy as many things as I can and contribute to society.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
Host as much as I can and have yet to surf but looking forward to it!
COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
Have had several friends host and surf before and heard great stories. In summary, I have little - but fully endorse the idea and I am enthusiastic to get more involved in the community.
Interests
I have always had random hobbies so it just depends on when you catch me... They range from long distance running to bowling and lots between so I am flexible. Currently working on climbing all of the 14,000ft peaks of Colorado..about half way there but lots of work left. Generally I just love to not sit around but sometimes I have to contend with doing that when I sleep.

Music, Movies, and Books
I love a lot of music and many genres..I am generally just interested in good music. Some recent favorites that come to mind are - Cage the Elephant, Band of Horses, Broken Bells, Gomez, REM, Third Eye Blind, Coldplay, Harper Simon, Iron & Wine, Mumford and Sons, Rodrigo y Gabriela. Just a sample, certainly not all of them!
I am generally into good non-fiction books ranging from Malcolm Gladwell to Jon Krakauker. Anything inspiring put to words is a good book to me.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Running for my life down a Colorado Mtn in a sudden change of weather that led to a lightening snow storm. After it was all said and done, it feels all the better to be alive. |||| Seeing the beauty of people that live in less than desirable (by most standards) conditions yet make the most out of live. My time spent in Honduras was awakening to the fact that happiness is so much more than the things that surround you and all about those whom surround you.
Teach, Learn, Share
Of the random things I feel inclined to be able to teach to others they would include: Skiing, Mountaineering, Bowling, Math, and my thoughts (to be taught only to those who want to be taught). I would love to learn about the people and culture of the places I visit. Whether that entails a different city in the State I live in or someone from across the globe. Finally, I would like to share my time with people including family, friends, and new friends.
