About Me
CURRENT MISSION
To see the Montreal Canadiens win the Stanley Cup again. Just kidding. To live life to the fullest.
ABOUT ME
I think my friends would say I'm a lot of fun to hang out with, I enjoy sports, books, the outdoors, and especially my family and faith. I teach history at Fresno Pacific University.
PHILOSOPHY
I am a Christian who enjoys engaging others from any other worldview, philosophy or religion. Students from Denmark, South Korea, China, Japan, Sri Lanka, Saudi Arabia and Germany have lived with us. We currently have a German guy living with us (which is why we are not hosting at this time).
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
Sometimes when I travel alone I try to couchsurf, and we have hosted when we don't have international students living with us.
COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
I have surfed as well as hosted, and both have been a great experience.
Interests
I love most sports, enjoy traveling, and my wife and I work with international students, so that captures our interest in students and their cultures.
- outdoor activities
- sports
Music, Movies, and Books
I have a diverse interest in all 3 and read a lot.
I read a lot of history.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Snorkeled in the Great Barrier Reef, Australia.
I've been to 20 countries on 6 continents; not sure if I'll make it to the Antarctic.
Teach, Learn, Share
I think listening to others and having a reciprocal conversation about ultimate reality and the meaning of life.
What I Can Share with Hosts
There is not much to do where I live, but we can point you in the right direction -- there is a ton to do nearby (beach, forest, camping, Yosemite, LA, San Francisco, Vegas).
