Mass tourism is becoming overtourism: if you go to a country to visit places, where everyone is going to, maybe you're a making a damage to that communities.
1) Ask local people for the place they go and how to avoid crowded situations!
2) Buy local products, it has no sense to buy at chain shops!
3) Respect locals, especially in their religious places.
Those are basic rules for a responsible and sustainable journey.
