ABOUT ME

I'm a friendly, lazy mammal (I'd probably be a manatee..), and a serious travel & adventure addict.
I could never work in an office (I've tried..), so while studying part time for another degree, I am also working as a flight attendant (which i love!). Never tired of seeing new places, I travel a lot in my spare time, too.
I have lived in several countries in the past, so after having spent 4 years back in my native Germany, it is time to move on again, and I am currently preparing my big move to Dublin - yeah!
I'm usually in a good mood, I like a good laugh, new impressions, places, sounds, nature.
I have a contemplative streak, too, and a penchant for anything unconventional, absurd and unexpected :)

I totally identify with the idea of hosting and meeting open minded and curious people from all over the world, making new friends and seeing as many places as possible!

Traveling, horse riding, photography, reading, nature, oh and I love sausage dogs, haha!
My biggest vice is sleeping - I can sleep anytime and everywhere and for AGES (so don't worry if I don't move for many hours, just poke me with a stick and you'll see I'm still alive..).

Music - The Doors, Moby, Dead Kennedys, The Cure, Ting Tings, Amy Winehouse, old stuff, new stuff, Electro, Drum'n Base etc etc..
Books - Hermann Hesse's 'Steppenwolf' and 'The Neverending Story' by Michael Ende are my all time favourites.
Films - Trainspotting, Company of Wolves, Silence of the Lambs, Das Meer in mir, Seven, Into the Wild, Hair, Lord of the Rings, Fight Club, The Tree of Life, The Village, Signs, the Alien quadrilogy, Tim Burton Stuff (I quite liked Frankenweenie, haha!)

A humpback whale mother with her calf in New South Wales, that was cool! And the 'Tane Mahuta' (a f*****g huge old tree) in New Zealand - blew me away..

I would like to learn Portugese and play the guitar, walking on my hands and Krav Maga..
What can I offer? I speak German & intermediate French, so could teach a little of that I suppose, I'm not too bad at sewing, cutting hair and I can make a decent veggie lasagne/choco-apple cake..
