About Me

CURRENT MISSION

toward "bigger-and-better-than-self" kinds of learnings

ABOUT ME

People inspire me the most, and above all, I am a thankful little human being.

PHILOSOPHY

Understanding leads to love.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

Just starting out, as I travel through France and Europe this semester on exchange!

Interests

Connecting with people, (un)planned adventures, full-circle conversations, being inspired to document things in my journal, languages, photography, open-air markets.

Hmmmmm copied and pasted from my blog, here: romantic-realism, dreamy people, The Great Gatsby, the kind of music that fills up the front of your car and makes it feel warm in wintertime (often 50's?), Amélie, toast (2nd fave food), Wuthering Heights, etymology, traditions, Catch-22, documentation, conversations that make me leean in, Sondre Lerche, running slowly, de-salting pretzels, Ben Folds, best friendship, youtube repeat, honey+butter, God in everyday life, craisins with everything, hyphens, sad movies, sad poetry, podcasts, chapstick, keeping in touch with old old friends, serenades, making daydreams come true.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Working at the World Expo in Yeosu, Korea, summer of 2012. So many moments, so many people, so much beauty and uglyness and growth.

Teach, Learn, Share

I can teach you "THE CORRECT" way to eat with chopsticks, which, in French, happen to be called "baguettes." And also the secret that lots and lots and lots of Asians eat with chopsticks in whatever way they want :P

Trying to learn to make food that I can eat with those baguettes! aaaand much much more. Want to learn about YOU and what makes you sparkly-eyed, please.

Countries I’ve Visited

Canada, Germany, Greece, Italy, Morocco, Spain, Taiwan, United Kingdom, United States

Countries I’ve Lived In
