我做过的一件不可思议的事情

At age 13, I was placed into foster care. I lived my teen years feeling trapped and alone. I went into college believing life would be this way. But after tutoring international students and hearing their stories, my ears were opened to the diversities of life. That second year of university was when I decided to hope on an airplane and leave Alabama for the first time. I discovered my first love, South Korea.
I have never regretted that leap and my life has been open and diverse ever since.
