About Me

CURRENT MISSION

Exploring unfamiliar lands

ABOUT ME

I'm a 30 year old female. I was fortunate enough to be born and raised in New Zealand. I love it absolutely but it really is down there on it's own and engrained in me, like most other NZers, is a desire to explore the world.
I've travelled throughtout NZ and and lived and travelled in Japan, Nepal, the States and parts of Europe and am currently taking a few months out to travel through Central and South America.

PHILOSOPHY

To keep on learning and growing from my experiences, to be with people and to leave a positive footprint on the world

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

Having heard about couch surfing from numerous friends over the past year or so, I finally got around to joining... All very well timed as I'm currently travelling through Central and South America. I'd love to get some hands on experience and meet some great people as part of my journey and then look to reciprocating the love when I get back to NZ.

Music, Movies, and Books

I'm not a huge reader but will occasionally bury myself in a book and love it.
I love art house and foreign films
Music - loads and varied - from downbeat electronica to indie rock, dub, reggae and soul. Current favourites are Wilco, the National, Opensouls

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Hmm, let's see... one of the coolest things I've done was walking 100km for Oxfam - stunning location, great physical challenge, fantastic team and support crew and all for a worthy cause.

Teach, Learn, Share

I love all things food and and more than happy to cook and share what I've learnt along the way about food. I'm also happy to help with English if it's your second language.
Right at this moment, Spanish is the thing I'm most keen on learning.
