ABOUT ME

Made in Turkey:)
I was born & been raised in Izmir, have been living in Istanbul for more than a decade. I work as a wedding photojournalist.
i am also a music journalist, working for some major music magazines, writing interviews & taking concert photos.

Photography has always been a passion in my life, started taking photos of almost everything I find worth to see when I was a teenager. And then it became my profession - so I consider myself as a very lucky person as I love my work;)

I am a dreamer, a traveller and my favourite colour is purple!
I admit that I am a coffee-addict. I can kill for a good cup of coffee (not literally :)) so my favourite places to hang out are nice cafes.

I am also a "fine food" activist. I'm against any crooked industrial agriculture movement. I'm a supporter of Slow Food and TEMA.
i am a metalhead since my early teenage times but it doesn't mean I don't listen to other types; I love jazz, blues and ethnic music as well.
i am quite chatty if you bring any subject i am interested in:)
i reply as " i am human." to the question "who are you?"
i am raised by the people who always tell me to live with the people who are like us and stay away from the ones who are not like us. i ended up the opposite of it.
i discovered that if we ever learn anything in this life we learn it not from those people who are exactly like us, but from those who are different than us.

to teach anything i know, to learn anything i find interesting:) to host if i am avaible, to surf when I'm free and anything else i don't remember to mention now.

我做过的一件不可思议的事情

Having muslim-Turkish roots & touring the whole Europe for 2 months in a tourbus with Israeli, Greek, Palestinian & French metal bands :) Yeah, I was the only one who couldn't speak my own language so I forced them to speak English when I'm around :) Yet, it improved my Hebrew, Greek, French(that's the hardest by far!) and Arabic :)
