I play the guitar, a little bit of piano and I sing in a band. I own a pole and I dance on and around it. I like to read, and I write my own skincare blog.

I'm a pretty laid back person and I try to enjoy random things as much as I can. I love laughing. Getting lost while traveling. Meeting new exciting people.. living the life of strangers for short periods of time on CS trips. I like dancing, going to concerts.. may it be the ones you sit at and just listen, or the ones where you sing your heart out in the front row..

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

To show you around, meet up for coffee, give you some advice on what to do/see in our beautiful country.
I currently reside in Kranj where I live with my husband and our hamster. We are pretty active people, with full time jobs, tons of hobbies and friends.. we're also bikers, we travel when we can, so there's not much time for a lot of hosting, but if the right person/people come along, we can reschedule our days a bit (if we can) - so feel free to ask nicely :)

I WANT TO MAKE ONE THING CLEAR. We are all people. We come from different backgrounds and we have different experiences that shape who we are. It's amazing to see and hear how we all see this world in a different light, we see and have different problems, and we have differing opinions on how to solve them. But I strongly believe, we all want the same thing - a better world for our children, ourselves and those around us.
Now, if you know yourself to be aggresive with your opinion and your solutions, if you aren't inclined to listen to other people and their stories and reasonings, if you like to jump the gun and call someone an insulting remark just because you disagree with them, then please rethink sending me a request.
My husband and I like to think of our place as a calm, peaceful oasis of fun, where aggresiveness, intolerance, insults, hate and drama are not accepted. If you at any point cross that boundary, we will not hesitate to take you to a hotel, so please note, that by staying at our place, you agree to act as a respectfull human being to us and our friends. If you are respectful, all else is acceptable. You can be young, old, gay, straight, vegan, vegeterian, a carnivore, republican or democrat, deeply religious, atheist or agnostic, patriotic or not, transgender, woman, man, feminist or a meninist, any colour under the sun, any nationality, a warm and kind person, or a cynic.

I try not to watch too much TV, but I like comedies, drama (not the romantic kind), horrors (the kind that realy scare you, not make you sick)..

Teach, Learn, Share

I can teach you how to play some chords on a guitar.. some silly Slovenian words, cook something new (unfortunately I don't know how to cook any traditional Slovenian food - they're a bit too complicated :D), I can make some coctails, you can learn a trick on my pole, basically anything that I know how to do and u don't, I'm willing to teach.
Would love to learn how to play drums, silly or polite foreign words (but mostly swear words), any kind of dance that I don't know yet,.. I like learning new things anyways, so anything you have to offer, I'll take it :)
