About Me
CURRENT MISSION
Life is not measured by the number of breaths we take, but by the moments that take our breath away....
ABOUT ME
I've always loved travelling, meeting new people, speaking foreign languages and discovering new places. I think it's the essence of life and an extraordinary break from daily routine. As much as travelling we love hosting, so you are always welcome here! We are warm, helpful, curious and open-minded people who enjoy having an interesting conversation and a good laugh and like listening to others' life stories and experiences. And we'd love to show you around, too! We met and hosted a lot of people through Hospitality Club and Couchsurfing and we're friends with them. HOWEVER, we do not host people, who only look for a free couch and prefer not to interact with their hosts. Intercultural exchange and friendship above all! See you soon!
PHILOSOPHY
If you always do what you always did, you'll always get what you always got.
'I wish you that you always wonder. The day you stop wondering you will stop thinking and - most important - feeling'. - Richard Kapuscinski
Helping people. Having an open mind for meeting new people and learning from them, learning new things and encountering new experiences. Experiencing everything with deep sensitivity and open heart and all senses. Concentrating on now and here. Self-development.
"My house is small, no mansion for a millionaire,
but there is room for love and there is room for friends, that's all I care."
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
We started in Hospitality Club in 2008 and it changed our life. We've loved every single experience there. Check out my profile there: http://secure.hospitalityclub.org/hc/travel.php?cid=ladygrey
In order to meet more and more lovely travellers we joined CS and it's been absolutely great as well.

Music, Movies, and Books
I love reading and can't imagine my life without books ( Wilde, Evans, Irving, Marquez, Fowles, Camus, Kundera, Tokarczuk, Kapuscinski, Capote, Minot, Allende, Perez-Reverte, Bronte, Zadie Smith, Heller, Kafka, Steinbeck, Faulkner, Lodge, Hemingway, Ionesco, Poświatowska, to name a few).
As much as books I adore music. It accompanies me everyday everywhere. I especially like Poets of the Fall, Dulce Pontes, Tears for Fears, Nightwish, Loreena McKennit, Jesse Cook, U2, Nouvelle Vague, Kari Bremnes, Anna Maria Jopek, Patricia Kaas, Cali, Annie Lennox, Kate Bush, Midnight Oil, The Mission, Simple Minds, Muse, the Stranglers, Van Morrison, Sting, The Cranberries, Janusz Radek, Acoustic Alchemy, Leslie Mandoki and many many more....
We listen to an extremely wide range of music genres - just come and pick a CD from our huge collection!
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Exploring new places is wonderful, but meeting new friendly people is always an amazing and invaluable experience. We have met so many fantastic people, full of love, friendship, care, fun, kindest hospitality and respect. We cherish every single meeting and keep in touch with newly-met couchsurfers or hosts.
Besides some stunning things I have seen and experienced during my life and travels, what will always amaze me are sunrises and sunsets. They're pure magic and utmost beauty and always take my breath away.
