ABOUT ME

My name is Emily and I come from Michigan and I just finished a year as an English teaching assistant in France. That was whoa.

Now I live in New York City, I work at a non-profit (check us out!: www.godslovewedeliver.org - a secular org that prepares and delivers food to people who are too sick to feed themselves!) and I'm looking to find groups of people and things to do.

I love: playing guitar for people, going to concerts, cooking a good meal, drinking a good wine, discovering cities from the local point of view, and so much more.

If you google/YouTube me, you might be able to see me dancing in authentic lederhosen to "Friday I'm in Love."

PHILOSOPHY

Having just graduated college and followed a formula I set out for myself, I'm thinking I would much rather live my life however it comes my way...

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I spent 9 months in Europe having amazing CouchSurfing experiences. Now I'm in NYC and, while I can't host anyone (so sorry, everyone!), I'm definitely down for meeting up for coffee/exploring various scenes/having a freaking sweet time.
