ABOUT ME

I'm an island girl at heart, even though I grew up in Midwestern cornfields and now live in the middle of the Mojave desert. I've been lucky enough to travel the world, and I learned more waiting for the bus in Jamaica than I did at university. The more we share with each other, the better the world will be.

My time studying Rastafari in Jamaica shaped me into the person I am today. I'm no Rasta, but I learned important lessons about humility, unity and the meaning behind One Love. Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I've been lucky enough to see a lot of the world in my short time on Earth so far, and wherever I've gone, people have generously opened their homes and hearts. Couch Surfing gives me a way to return the favor.

For awe-inspiring sights, China has much to offer. From the Great Wall to the Forbidden City to the terra cotta soldiers of Xian to the Three Gorges dam, they do things on a monumental scale.

Teach, Learn, Share

I know a lot about graphic design and printing since that's how I make a living. Away from work, I do stained glass and delve into other cultures, usually starting at the dinner table.
