ABOUT ME

I'm currently living in London after 7 months of travelling around Europe last year. I enjoy the international community here and all the diversity it has to offer in everything from food, music, dance to culture and language.
I've studied visual arts aswell as teaching English to foreigners.I found teaching very rewarding but have decided teaching English grammar is not my path.
I'm currently searching for what it is I want to do next to combine crativity with the skills I have. I find travelling and meeting new people both an inspiration and an eye opener in to new possibilities.

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I'm new to couch surfing but I hope to contribute to the couchsurfing community through respect and kindness and the sharing of ideas and experiences. When I eventually return home, I hope to be able to provide a couch.

Interests

I'm interested in the experiences of others and being open to understanding different people's perceptions of the world.
I enjoy being outdoors whether it's pottering in the garden, cycling, swimming, hiking or dancing in a forest location to wicked music. I'm a fan of psytrance music as well as electro, breaks, dub, drum and bass, funk, jazz and even classical.

I like reading fiction and going to see theatre and comedy. Laughter is one of the moist important things in my life! I'm also a tap dancer for the love (not the profession) and enjoy yoga and swimming.

I'm an art lover, although I feel like I've lost touch with my creative side of late and am hoping to reconnect with that. I love contemporary art and seeing what kind of whacky ideas people can come up with to express themselves or their ideas.

I also love cooking and baking and sharing the whole experience with others. Food is such a nice way to bring people together to talk, laugh and enjoy eachother's company.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

One of the most amazing things I've done is go skydiving over Wollongong beach, NSW, Australia. The intense physical sensation of falling and then the incredible view while floating down to earth with the vast ocean sparkling will remain unforgettable.
Plitvice Lakes national park in Croatia is an amazing place I've seen. 16 natural lakes joined together by waterfalls surrounded by forest in a national park. The water has a build up of calc giving it a magical turquoise colour. I was there at the end of summer when the leaves were just changing colour, I'll never forget watching the sunset with a perfect mirror reflection of the surrounding trees and sky in one of the turquoise pools, magic!
