ABOUT ME

I like to laugh, I am the first to laugh at something stupid/silly I have done. I love learning new things. I don't like close/small-minded people, or people who are set in their ways and unwilling to try new things. I LOVE teaching, and have wanted to be a teacher since I was 5. I am an avid gamer, and have, luckily, met a great guy who is just as passionate about me as he is about gaming. I am sarcastic, and yet one of the most optimistic people overall - things will ALWAYS get better!

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

Nothing officially through CS.org, but my first night in Italy I had gotten delayed with planes and turned up 12 hours after I was supposed to (at 2am!) with no money and no way to contact the housing agency. Thankfully there were some WONDERFUL people from my flight who were also studying abroad at the same school as me and they were living in a hotel so they knew where to go and they graciously allowed me to spend the night on their floor.
We also hosted an Australian couple for 3 or 4 days in our apartment in Florence that we had met at a hostel in Rome.
When I am in living situations where I can host people I love opening my home to friends who want to come see the area, I have hosted people in Florida and NY when I lived there.
I just returned from a trip where my fiance and I went to France and were hosted by a new friend there for 3 days.
