CURRENT MISSION
I am travelling north to Vancouver from Los Angeles. This has been the hardest year of my life and am looking forward to being back in Canada with my family!
ABOUT ME

I am a healthy, spiritually and philosophically oriented artist with strong leanings in music and fashion. ART is my life and vocation. I am open to all kinds of people and believe in being in the moment.
Ideally I would love to travel around the world painting beautiful murals for everyone and enjoying the variety of cultures and styles.
I can move and adapt to much but have no tolerance for an unclean environment or other bad life habits. I like to paint and dance, sometimes at the same time. I really interpret energy and move to music spontaneously. I love discussions of a philosophical , global and spiritual nature and have met people from all walks of life. I like to cook for others but also like a community spirit where everyone contributes and mutually respects and appreciates each other. I am a funloving , yet down to earth and easy going personality. I respect peoples space and expect the same.

PHILOSOPHY

I believe we are all moving towards greater awareness with ourselves , each other and the earth. The internet and these sites is assisting in bringing people together on an important level. That of sheer adventure and love of life and experience. It does not matter where you go or where you sleep but how you experience it and its so much better with good friends.....

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I have actually been hosting and 'crashing' way before this site existed so I'm really glad now that I'm older and more careful and picky! that it exists. I will gladly promote and contribute what I can to ensure its continued existence.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

In 1998 I walked across the United States in a mystical and spiritual journey with nothing but some clothes on my back! It was awesome and gave me the greatest sense of freedom I've ever had. I stayed in all kinds of communities and helped people with their needs whether it was assisting elderly or single moms or cleaning and cooking for bachelors .
It was a great learning experience on deep levels that I will not get into now but will gladly discuss.

Interests

The human experience/condition.The visual arts, painting photography, cooking. philosophy and religion. ancient and occult studies. Yoga , biking, swimming, scuba, hiking. I love nature and all its wonders.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Scuba Diving in the winter in Canada...Awesome and challenging.
Walking across America in a dress just doing yoga everywhere. Straight up mystical! Chasing down a purse snatcher in high heel boots ...and getting it back! Fronting a rock band improvisationally and for the first time on stage successfully. Representing myself in court and acquiring my status as US resident after 2 painful yrs of paperwork! Having my painting enlarged and placed in the middle of Downtown Los Angeles for two months for everyone to see. Creating my first public mural in Hollywood in 1992. It was 20 feet long and I designed and completed it myself. Am very proud of that effort. Scuba diving in Molokini Maui and seeing an octopus!

Teach, Learn, Share

I would love to do a mural or paint in every home! I am developing some cutting edge treatments for walls inspired by abstract paintings and modern art. I am also spiritually inclined and very capable in the areas of self awareness explorations. Everything breaks down to energy and thru experiencing anothers, one becomes more aware of their own.
