Sincere, thoughtful, smart enough to know there is a tremendous amount I still want to learn, open-minded, funny, positive, quirky humor, blunt on occasion, thrifty so I look for bargains an enjoy negotiating on occasion, honest, Love to cook, shop, and eat, good at reading body language, horrible at spelling and grammer, enjoy grocery shopping around the world and discovering new products, like drinking herbal tea, love a great joke that's off color, serious when I need to be, helpful, honest, compassionate, loyal to the people I care about, accepting of myself and others I cross paths with, and very curious about EVERYTHING.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING...

Mostly I surf with other couch surfers that are gracious enough to host me. Unfortunately, I live on a ship most of the year working when I am not visiting family or traveling during short breaks with no capacity to host. Excited to host CS when I change careers and have a permanent living situation in the future.

WHY I COUCH SURF?

There is nothing more meaningful then trusting another human to share and connect with on a personnel level​. Discovering the beauty and soul of a other person when the universe opens up. The opportunity to create what could not have blossomed otherwise. Learn about other people, and gain further insight into others due to past experience s..learn about hope.

Interests

I love to cook, grocery shop, and watch people prepare food as a learning experience! Explore, travel, talk to strangers who are just friends I have not officially met, smile, organized chaos, read (history, romance once in a while, biography, self help, fiction, non fiction, motivational, anything where I will learn or put off doing a chore 😀), swim in the ocean and jump over huge waves, sun bathe, play with other peoples pets (esp big dogs, little dogs, puppies that don't bite and enjoy horse play), help people, arts and crafts, go to garage sales and flea markets looking for bargains or the usual, eating traditional ethnic food and learning how to cook it, walking, working out, yoga, Movies (foreign films,strange and unsual, low budget, indie, and heart felt), snuggling with my love, going to the dog park, learning something new everyday, touching people I care about, all types of weather, watching sunrise/sunset, soaking in a hot bath (with a great book, candle, and glass of wine), people watching on a bench, being on the water, being near the water, Looking at humans and reading body language trying to figure out what they are thinking, sleeping during the rain or ship rocking motion, listening to birds anytime of the day, singing horribly off key because I'm happy and I think I know the words to the song when in actuality I am clueless, talking to older/wise people, laying on top of warm cloths that just came out the dryer, telling jokes, playing with peoples hair occasionally if they let me trying to braid and design, looking through peoples fridge where I can learn a lot about an individual, feeding stay animals on the street, and trying something new every day!!!

Enjoy listing to a wide variety of music. Fan of Audio Slave, Nickleback, Adel, Sublime, Norah Jones, music from the 60's, 70's, and 80's, anything with soul, and Jazz playing in the background.

I love to read Pat Conroy's books, Virginia Henley, Game of Thrones, Opras book club novels, the Kit runner, A Thousand Splendid Suns, The little Prince, The Alchemist, and Michael Doris to just name a few.

Favorite movies are quinton tarentino, Pedro Aldomovar, Brave Heart, Dirty Dancing, Avatar, Enemy at the Gate, Legends of the falls, Little Miss Sunshine, Juno, Life is beautiful, last of the Mohicans, Maria full of grace, Life is Beautiful, Spanglish, Dances with wolves, A Thomas Crown Affair, Maria Full of Grace, and ALL FOREIGN FILMS.

Favorite animal is the wolf.

Fell in love completely and had my love returned. Remembering everyday that I am blessed with the most precious gift.
