I'm an Aussie and a nerd who is very curious and loves to learn. I'm currently living in British Columbia and enjoying everything it has to offer. I love the beach and exploring so will rarely be found at home but enjoy the occasional lazy day to unwind. I enjoy a night out but would prefer to splurge on good food rather than getting drunk; or better yet spend time in the kitchen cooking recipes that have taken my interest with friends and a bottle of wine or cocktails. I prefer backpacking and road tripping with free camping during my travels than relaxing in resorts as I'm generally on my feet from sunrise to sunset and then recharge my batteries with food and sleep. I love the outdoors and can't beat a cosy night by the fire! I want to see more of the road less travelled vs the tourist traps.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I want to chat to locals and experience how the locals live and share experiences as an Australian. I have travelled with foreigners so am use to being patient with English and trying to teach English. I enjoy socialising and making new friends and when I have the means would return the favour to host.
