About Me

Buongiorno!
I use to travel since I was 3 years old...and I kept going on and on till now.
Usually people are amazed because i worked in crazy countries like Afghanistan, Uganda, Bosnia, Nigeria and so on...I'm just in the beginning...and I plan to see much more of this world. For this reason I do the job I do...and I just love it.
I was occupied with Medicines Sans Frontiers (MSF)...medical humanitarian organization...but I'm now taking a little break in the private business.

My Philosphy:
"For my part, I travel not to go anywhere, but to go. I travel for travel's sake. The great affair is to move"

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

Couchsurfing is a wonderful LifeStyle to try ...

As I use to say to my friends who ask me about CS :"If, for whatever reason, you can't go to the world...let the world come to your house!"

Interests

Apart travelling..which I think it's pretty clear....once I was taken away by Astronomy...2yr of University in Bologna...but after some time I discovered that my class mates were collecting the best marks without doing much...So I acknowledge they would have been the "Einstein" around.
So I preferred to take other unwalk roads..
I now walk into the wild.....
But I still enjoy to look up...and tell stories about stars and their secret beauty...and to carry people around for small tour in beautiful starry skies.
I was also taken away by 70/80s Manga...
Movies and music still hold on strongly.
I also loved snowboarding... I was a little pro, when snow was still coming...but my job has taken me away, around the world.... where snow was never known..
I play guitar...I'm an amateur...but people say I'm good enough to stand alone. They lie...
Often I've taken my guitar in the most far out places...faraway lands...like that day on the shores of Kazakh Caspian sea...screaming out loud...keeping the jackals away..

Music, Movies, and Books

Ahhh man....
If you start talking about movies then you got me!
I'm love movies and I love going to cinema when I'm abroad , cause I can watch them in original language!

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Well...If I say everything here...we risk to spend our evenings in silence, staring at each other's face...
That wouldn't be fun!!!
But I want to give you a hints...

...that day...in the battlefield of Herat, Afghanistan, when I blew up 3 TONS of ammunitions, granades, RPGs, mines and missiles...together with the US demining marine corps...
Well...I didn't blew the marines up...I only press the red botton and they did all the dirty job...

Man...that was a KaBum!!

Teach, Learn, Share

"Where are you going?", I was a times asked by some people who I met by chance. "I have not the slightest idea", I answered back, accompanying the expression with an eloquent gesture of the hands, which meant the complete absence of plans, as the desire to show how cruel it was a type of vacation where every single hour is organised down to the smallest details. Too long to explain it to those who ran with the satellite antenna on the camper and watched the games after dinner. Better tell all to a travelogue, every evening, when the tent was set and all things well arranged in bags, writing impressions and memories of the day. Sometimes a few lines, often full pages...

A volte poche righe, spesso pagine intere.
