About Me
Hi ! I am a student in Geography in Lyon, France. I am currently in Tucson for an internship in a French-american research laboratory, studying the energy transition in Pima County. It is my first time in the US and I am not disappointed by the astonishing landscapes.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I want to travel while I'm in the US and meeting people is a very important part of the trip. I think Couchsurfing, in addition to reducing travel costs, is one of the best ways to do that!
Music, Movies, and Books
I love novels, especially historical novels or family saga (and geography books). Among my favorite authors, there is Chimamanda Ngozi Adichie, Thomas Mann, Emile Zola or Jane Austen. I like auteur cinema, like François Truffaut, Ingmar Bergman or Arnaud Desplechin. I also like John Ford's westerns and Billy Wilder or Woody Allen's comedies. I play the piano and have a background in classical music but I also love jazz and contemporary pop music.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
On New Year's Eve, I camped in the French Pyrenees, at altitude. There was a lot of snow, it was very cold, I didn't have very good equipment, but it was incredible!
Teach, Learn, Share
I love the mountains and hiking, and more generally I like to do sports. I also like reading, music, watercolor, cooking, learning all kinds of things
What I Can Share with Hosts
I love learning more about the place I'm in, knowing the history, knowing what's going on there etc. I also like to talk about travel, make music, cook. I can adapt to any situation and I don't need much to be happy!
