ABOUT ME

I grew up in Brussels and also in the countryside, in a town called "Enghien".

I traveled and worked one year (2013-2014) around Australia, New Zealand and French Polynesia. It was my first big travel experience and I did it on my own. It's definitely the best decision I've ever taken in my life ! My travel went naturally on the spiritual path and realize that now, my consciousness is definitely on a higher level and I feel much more connected with myself.

My dream is to settle down in Queensland (Sunshine Coast or nearby) in Australia. I just feel myself there, I can live a more simple life due to the sunny weather all year round and I love the sun and heat very much. I also really like being close to the nature and the wildlife, it has a healing effect on me.

I am really easygoing, very sharing and I love helping whenever I can.

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

My parents have a small flat in a separate space inside my house so I can host and I surfed a few times during my travels.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

All good experiences, the hosts always showed me the areas and shared their love for their place.
In Hobart it was my best experience because there were other surfers in the house and I've met awesome people and spend great times. When you couchsurf you really enter into people's life and that's how you get to know the local life.

As a host, I love it even more ! Being able to help and share with travellers has been a great experience. I don't live in a busy area so I don't get many requests but the one I had was perfect, I have learned a lot from the surfers.

兴趣

I like meeting new people and discovering other cultures. I love nature, yoga, food, helping others as much as I can, traveling...
I'm also really interested in cosmetics and especially natural and organic ones. I love learning more about naturopathy, which is a natural and preventive medicine and a real art of living.
And finally I deeply believe in the healing power of essential oils and I'll do a course to study them as soon as I create the opportunity for it.
Last but not least, I'm vegan so veganism is a huge part of my everyday life. I get a lot of information about it. I chose to be vegan for animal ethic, spirituality, humanity, environment... So eating with me means discovering another way of cooking/thinking and being open minded ! :-)

I like every kind of music but most of the time I listen to electronic music, rock, indie/alternative, world music, etc.
I like watching japanese cartoons and reading mangas.
And there are heaps of movies I like !

我做过的一件不可思议的事情

- Scenic flight over the Whitsundays Islands and the reef (with the heart reef)
- Roadtrippin with my own car around the east coast in Australia
- fruitpicking in a strawberry farm in Queensland during one month and half and camp in the same time
- hitchhiking in New Zealand and Tazzie
- Helicopter flight and hike on the Franz Jospeh Glacier in New Zealand
- Did the Tongariro Alpine Crossing in Tongariro National Park, which is 6 hours hiking, and climbed the volcano Mount Ngauruhoe or Mount Doom for the Lord of the Ring fans ;-), 2,291m. And had lunch on the crater.
- Flying in a small private plane over Moorea, French Polynesia
- Climbed Cradle Mountain (1,545m) in Cradle National Park in Tasmania and had lunch on the top.
- I did a 10 days stay in a Vipassana meditation centre : learning a meditation technique based on Buddha's teachings. Noble silence, no eye contact, 11 hours of meditation, pain because of sittings, headaches because of my mind full of thoughts, etc. But at the end, I felt so much better, more calm, more alive and more aware and conscious.
- Walk a trail in a volcano crater surrounded by hundreds of cows on Corvu island, the smallest and most western point of the Azores (Portugal).
- One month Yoga teacher training course in Mysore, South of India.

教，学，和分享

I practice yoga and I just did my teacher training in Mysore, India. I can teach you the Sun Salutation and some simple asanas (postures). I'll continue studying Yoga in October 2016, this time with a two months yoga therapy course. For me Yoga is a way of living, it is a passion, and I would be very happy to share it.
