About Me
ABOUT ME
I am a pianist studying at Lawrence University Conservatory of Music in Appleton, WI who is currently spending a year in Paris, France. However, I am originally from Bainbridge Island, WA and my heart will always be in the Pacific North West! Besides music I love to travel, make new friends, ride my bicycle, hike, and be outdoors. I also love cooking, reading, and learning new things.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I am on Couchsurfing because I think it is more important than ever before that we as a world have ways to come together and meet each other on a personal level, allowing different people who might not ever have a chance to meet to get to know each other and share their culture and experience. I believe that through these exchanges it is possible for our world to gain understanding and empathy and for us to have a chance at finding peaceful ways to resolve conflicts and disputes. I also think Couchsurfing is a great way for people who are on a budget to be able to travel because without Couchsurfing it would be a lot more financially challenging to explore the amazing world we live in. Lastly, I simply love meeting people and traveling!
Interests
My interests include music, as well as riding bikes, hiking, running, playing soccer, and swimming. I also love cooking, especially inventing recipes that sometimes turn out great and sometimes are horrible!

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
This past summer I WWOOFed on an ostrich farm in Bulgaria for three weeks. It was so cool to learn and help with ostrich hatching, taking care of the babies, feeding the bigger birds, collecting the eggs, making ostrich enclosures...it was an amazing experience.
