ABOUT US

In a nutshell: architect and journalist raised in the Northwest and LATAM. We enjoy surfing and being outdoors. We bike to get around, enjoy good stories, and are always seeking balance and sustainability. We support self-sufficiency in all its forms. We have a baby, Sophie, who is a happy delight.

We appreciate life and joke and realize that there are many realities occurring around us. Things that fascinate us: architecture, design, oudoor sports, worker-owned businesses, latin american rural and agricultural economies, local seasonal agriculture, urban gardening.

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

We participate minimally. I [Irene] surfed in Europe and Hawaii and have met all sorts of cool and amazing people. Now, we host people and spread the word.
