ABOUT ME
Hola! I know no Spanish! I am a lovely half German half French-Canadian demoiselle residing in beautiful Frankfurt, Germany. I'm finished my studies in Linguistics and Psychology (for now) though my interests go beyond those fields. I am passionate about contemporary art and history. I also really enjoy cooking and baking. I love sitting on a patio discussing anything from cats to how it's unjust that french people can't name their son Jesus and spanish people can. Sigh.
PHILOSOPHY
Live fast, die young, bad girls do it well...
wait, no, mostly I like calculated risks and trying to keep regrets to a minimum.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
I try to go to events when possible and share the CS word as much as possible!
COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
I came to know of CS through a roommate who asked if we would be willing to host someone visiting from Australia. It was a really great experience and it allowed us to show her the great things Ottawa has to offer. I'm hoping people can show me the same great experience

Music, Movies, and Books
I love all of the above!
I enjoy anything foreign and these ones I can think of off the top of my head: American Beauty, Shawshank Redemption, Inside Man, Das Leben der Anderen, Amelie, Jurassic Park, Thomas Crown Affair, etc etc
I like a variety of tunes. I have a big collection of early 90's rap, really anything out of the 90's makes me happy. I also like Yann Tiersen, Coldplay, Radiohead, Choke, Slayer, Matthew Good, Whitney Houston. I could go on forever...
Books, oh my. I like reading fiction and non-fiction. Ayn Rand is probably my favorite author, Anything old by Stephen King, I love Harry Potter (don't judge me),
Books on philosphy, history, art, food.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Going to Rome for Easter was both crazy and really interesting. Never have I or will I see so many nuns again...
12 hours on a train with a kilo of cherries and bottle of vodka making my way through the Ukraine with Chelsea
Teach, Learn, Share
I am not a terribly fearless person and I love hearing about other people's courage where I would lack it and those who can get me to try to face things.
