Help people discover a city that can sometimes be tough to reveal its gems.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I first heard of Couchsurfing in 2009. I then understood it was meant only for real surfers (those on water waves and all). I'm become a little smarter since then.
Also, I've hosted +150 couchsurfers so far. Only a couple were dicks. You won't be this 1%...

Intereses

Cinema (wrote a 80 pages dissertation about the late 60s American cinema)
Reading
English and American language and civilization in the most general sense
India
Going out, meeting people not like me
Meditation (I cannot yet levitate, but I getting pretty good at other stuff)
Travelling (right? Ain't it like everyone here?)

Música, películas y libros

Films: American westerns, French new wave, Italian neorealism... Anything made with talent and honesty!
(not into: Marvel films! Please let's move on to something else! Or go back to westerns!)
books: 20th century American lit at the time. Favourite of all times? Moon Palace, by Paul Auster. Also, a great fan of the 50 Shades of Grey series. Defines new standards in writing that make you enjoy real books all the more.
music: Marilyn Manson. Ooops, no, that was 15 years ago. Now? Alt-J maybe. Definitely Parov Stelar before going out.
