About Me

CURRENT MISSION

to better understand the world I live in

ABOUT ME

I grew up forty minutes outside of Chicago, and went to a few different colleges in the midwest before graduating from the University of Iowa. I've been an athlete for just about all my life so I enjoy staying active. My first international travel experience was a trip to England, Italy and Greece with my parents, so I blame them for giving me the travel bug. I've had a lot of great vacations in the US and around the world that led me to take a job teaching English in Spain. I'm a very down-to-earth person, I get along with just about everybody, and I want to experience the world.

PHILOSOPHY

Life itself, when understood and utilized for what it is, is sweet

Music, Movies, and Books

The types of movies I enjoy are comedies, action, scary, and documentary.

For music, I am a big fan of rock n'roll, classic rock, blues, american country, rap/hip-hop, alternative, and anything else that sounds good.

I like any book I can learn something meaningful from.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

In December of 2009 to January of 2010 I had the opportunity to do a short internship with a non-profit organization in southern India. I was able to work with the company and see how their work helps the lives of many poor people in India. A truly one of a kind experience.
