Overview
About Me
I grew up in Arles (Camargue --> pink flamingos, bulls and white horses, roman legacy), studied and work in Grenoble (Alps --> mountain sports and outdoor culture) and recently ended up in Paris. First I was reluctant (french people who don't live in Paris usually hate Paris) but I love it.
I've also lived in the US (as exchange student), in India (for business - but I did lots of leisurely activities too!) and in New Zealand that I traveled on horseback for over a year.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
Travelling is enriching but can be a bit unconfortable some time. Travelers need a smile and an open door - feeling good away from home makes it worth traveling! That's the reason why I surf and host.
It's wonderful to come to a new city for only a couple of days and to find real friends there. On the other hand, hosting foreigners is a good way to make daily life a bit more exciting and showing them around is an opportunity to go out more. Plus it's good for my travelling karma!
Interests
I enjoy sports, especially outdoors, from horseback riding to rockclimbing. I would try anything once! Besides sports, I also enjoy reading books, going to the movies, to concerts, restaurants and bars... Pretty much like everybody I guess! I've also very recently started the guitar.
I'm happy as soon as I have nice people around and do some activities. I'm not very picky on activities, I just like going to new places, doing new things.
When traveling I like to experience the outdoors, the local culture and also see and do the must-see and must-do. There is always a reason why they are popular and I like to experience it for myself.
