Hello ! I'm Alex from Hong Kong 🇭🇰 , studied bachelor in Taiwan 🇹🇼 for 4 yrs, currently being an exchange student in Estonia 🇪🇪 .

Before i study in Sociology, i was a chef in a michelin restaurant in HK 👨‍🍳 .

I was also a chairman of an union federation in HK, which was disbanded in 2021, hopefully you know why 🤐 .

I'm good at cooking 🧑‍🍳 , singing 🎤 , and sports ( I have been cycling around and hiking in couple Bai Yue (百岳) in Taiwan 🚵‍♂️, reccently working hard in Table Tennis 🏓) .

I traveled mainly in Asia before, once in Norway when i joined an international cooking competition 11 years ago, this is my second time to travel in Europe.

Lately I'm interested in Buddism, and i have been a monk for a short period in Fo Guang Shan 🧘🙏 .

音乐、电影和书籍

I like Cantonese songs and Taiwanese songs, especially Beyond and Eason Chan (陳奕迅) from HK, and Wubai (伍佰) and EggPlantEgg (茄子蛋) from Taiwan.

I love Stephen Chow (周星馳)'s moive, mostly comedy while sometimes with dark humour. I love the movie To Live (活著) and Let the Bullets Fly (讓子彈飛) in China, which reflated the humanities under a highly pressured circumstance.

In terms of books, I got inspired very much by the Chinese phlilosophy, like Taoism (道家) and I Ching (易經), which indicated some laws of the world and recommonded how people can stay well in the changing world. The Diamond Sūtra (金剛經) also offered me a perspective to let go of some attachment that makes me suffer.

I went to North Korea, hanged with the local high school kids, played roller coaster in the theme park, and told the tour guide burger is not invented by Kim Jong-un.

Food ( I am good at cooking in eastern and western style ) ;
Story ( Crazy things that happened in kitchens, social movement, North Korea, Taiwan, Hong Kong, China ) ;
Any housework ( I have been worked in the rice field in Yilan for 2 months, know how to use weeder under 40 degrees ; i can blend in my sister's kid's friends group as well )
Singing ( I do busking and performances sometime, i won a 2nd in my university's singing competition last year )
