About Me
Hello! I am currently in university in the United States studying Neuroscience and Peace and Conflict Studies. However, Barcelona (Spain) and Santiago (Chile) are my homes. I am overall an outgoing, honest, motivate, passionate, independent, loyal and compassionate person.
I am an avid traveller and looking to expand my list of countries and people I have met! There is no greater joy in life than sitting on a plane and eagerly imagining all the experiences you will have in a new place, or joyfully reflecting on how all your expectations have been surpassed. The snow is one of the things that I love the most, and I try to spend the maximum amount of my time on skis exploring new territory. However, I won't ever give up on a chance to hit the beach!
I have always been taught that nothing is more beautiful than crossing borders. I was put on solo planes since I was a child, going to France, England, the United States and South America. As frightening as it seemed as a child, I have never been more thankful. I grew to love airplanes and landing in all the new places and engaging in conversations with some of the most interesting people in the world. What I have come to love the most about traveling is experiencing the food, the coffee (I have a slight obsession with coffee), the local beer, the language, the music and the sights.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I would like to meet some fellow wanderers and share experiences, laughs and possibly a good beer (extra points if you're a skier)! I am looking to meet people who can open up my eyes to new cultures and worlds when traveling, since there is no better way of learning from a place than from locals. I am also in love with my native city (Barcelona) and am willing to share the greatness of this place to other fellow wanderers who wan't to get to know it from a local perspective!

Music, Movies, and Books
Huge fan of techno - and an amateur DJ
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Lost a soccer game in the Peruvian amazon, did NOLS in the Patagonia, heliskied in the Spanish Pyrenees, surfed in the Pacific ocean, got eaten alive by mosquitos in Costa Rica, walked on ice fields in Chile, helped build a latrine in Western Panama, danced in the NYC Pride parade, spoke in front of 300 people in Lisbon, witnessed a chicken bus fight in Nicaragua, learnt to DJ in the Netherlands, saw my first surgery in the Dominican Republic, witnessed the jaw dropping powers of fries with mayonnaise in Belgium, had the best meal of my life in Prague... and more amazing things.
Honestly, the culmination of things is what I take pride in. All these events are interconnected and have made me who I am today. To name one amazing thing would be keeping it short. And I hope this list continues expanding....
