Hey! My name is Laia, I'm 28 y.o. and I'm from Barcelona.
I consider myself as someone very friendly, open and easy to get along with. I love sports and the outdoors, and I love meeting new people! Also, I may seem shy at first, but that is completely false!

I've studied Philosophy and Graphic Design, and I'm currently at Uni for Primary Education. I've worked in different schools in the city during 8 years as as a teacher, and I'm currently working as a receptionist and administative aux at a retail company.
I volunteer in two social projects; one children-related, and the other one, animals-related.

I'm into photography, arts, cycling, swimming, music (always listening to it), reading (mostly!), education and pedagogy, and all new and different things I am about to learn!

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

It gives me the chance to meet new people, cultures, languages, improve the ones I'm studying...
CS can be a great tool for oneself to achieve personal growth.

Since I'm a toddler that I've been traveling around the globe, but it was not since my 17th birthday that I got to do it by myself. I love it, and at any chance I get, I plan a new route in a new country.

Interests

I mostly enjoy being outdoors.
But, I can be very active and a non-stop person anywhere you find me; curiosity is what moves me around, always wishing I learn more and more about everything.
