Hi! I'm Laia, I'm from a small city close to Barcelona.
I'm doctor and after I finished my residency, I was travelling during 7 months around Asia and then is when I discover couchsurfing. I think it is the best way to visit the countries and understand better the culture.
After I came back of my trip, I was working few months and later I join an international NGO in 2018 and since then I've been working with them in different countries, mostly in Africa.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I decided to join in couchsurfing because I think this is the best way to meet a place, the culture and the people who lives in.

Interests

I like nature and animals. I'm an active person that really enjoy in mountains but I also love beaches and chilling.
I can enjoy around the cities as well, just going around, meeting the people and the culture and especially the food!
I'm very easy-going and I can enjoy with everything.
