About Me
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
After completing highschool last year and working for a few months, I'm now travelling. The first three months I spend in Nepal, doing voluntary work. Then I spend half a year hiking the Pacific Crest trail in the US, which is a hiking trail from Mexico to Canada and my dream since I was sixteen.
Afterwards I spend a few months backpacking through Mexico and am now hiking the CDT with my best friend. While doing that we love to meet and connect with locals along the way.
Interests
I'm always happy to do many things, especially something creative or connecting with other people instead of watching series or being on social media all the time;)
- singing
- yoga
- meditation
- reading
- painting
- piano
- travelling
- paintings
- cooking and baking
- dancing (contemporary, salsa)
- hiking, walking in nature
Music, Movies, and Books
All kind of music (Ed Sheeran, Ludovico Einaudi, Eminem, Muerdo).
Honestly, I'm not so much into movies, but still enjoy all the modern Disney fairytales.
I love good fantasy books (like from Brandon Sanderson or Sarah J. Maas) and also informative books (e.g. Harari, Steven Pinker, Brené Brown) and spiritual books (e.g. mindfulness, bliss and beyond by Ajahn Brahm)
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
An exchange year in Paraguay when I was 16 xD
Spontaneously painting the walls af a teahouse in the Himalayans in Nepal where I stayed.
Hiking the Pacific Crest Trail.
Teach, Learn, Share
I'm super courious, so I try to take whatever input I can find on my way. Wether this is a personal story or any kind skill.
Personally I could, of course, share some of the stories I collected so far:) and for example cook some typically Nepali curry (Dhal Bat) as I learned in Nepal this year
And I also always love to be creative together, like singing, playing piano or creating a painting.
