I am Laila, 20 years old and from Germany. After finishing school in summer 2014, me and my best friend did a trip around the world where we worked as horse tour guides in Iceland and did gardening in the Caribean. We also worked on a Weed Farm in Maui, did housesitting and Yoga in San Diego, trained puppies and horses in Australia, took care of cats, dogs, chicken and turkeys in New Zealand and travelled Thailand. In between we did couchsurfing in Paris and Hawaii. This was definitely the greatest experience of my whole life and now that I'm back home, I want to be a great host to other travelers so that they can have as awesome experiences as I had. I will start going to university in October and would like to start hosting people in my new apartment as soon as I move in.
For now I'm just enjoying my freedom until university starts and will probably travel around a bit.
