ABOUT ME

I live for adventure/neat experiences and meeting great people and I've found both of those things often come with traveling. Also the unexpected moments that create a full life rich with great memories.

PHILOSOPHY

Being kind to others sounds trite but I believe it really is vital to a happy life. I've often had good experiences talking with strangers who I wouldn't otherwise know unless one of us had taken an interest in the other person even if we're only in a line/queue together. I believe reaching out and taking an interest in the world and people around you can only enrich one's life. Also remembering that most of us are all doing our best and while things may be rough at times, life is an ever-changing thing that will hopefully get better if you stick through the tough times.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I've had the luck to have some great people (one couple got engaged in my kitchen!) stay with me. I'm very happy to have met them and thank them for picking me to be their host.
Now that I'm traveling I've stayed with more hosts and have only had fantastic experiences. Thank you all!

Intereses

I like to travel (of course!), read, write, explore new places, play tennis, eat yummy food, drink tea, sleep, watch movies, hear funny things and true stories, watch people, listen to the radio, swim, eat out, sauna, garden and spend time with friends, family and our pets.

Algo increíble que he hecho

One time when we were crossing from France to Italy on the train I woke up right at sunrise and saw it rise as I laid in my bunk. It was truly breathtaking. Swimming with the whale sharks off Australia's West Coast was awesome as was bungee jumping in New Zealand. Getting married was also a really great day - like a big fun party with a bonus!
