Cheerful, but serious. Enjoy chit-chatting, looking and seeing.

I grew up in Czech Republic, with a journalist mum, who taught me the power and beauty of the written and spoken word, and a teacher (and Englishman) for a stepdad. We spoke English at home, and our conversations were ones meant for the brain's clockwork to tick. I have thus always been interested in the world around me - visually, historically, linguistically, culturally, questioningly. Professionally, I have been working with exhibitions at galleries in the last three countries where I lived (USA, UK, Latvia), now freelancing.

Vegetarianism for 18 years now turned vegan. Walking. Reading. Art galleries. Loving and learning about animals. Noticing and learning new things. Being a mum.

我做过的一件不可思议的事情

Sticking my head back looking at a thick blanket of stars. The cracking of paint on buildings. Giving birth. Reading a book and missing my stop. People watching. Picnics. The little joys of life.

Travelled for 3 months by car with our 6-8 month old (at that time) son through southern Europe - camping and couch surfing all the way!
