ABOUT ME

I'm Laima from Riga. I was born in a small town in Latvia - Limbazi. After graduating High school in my small town I moved to Riga to study in University. After I finished my studies I moved to Belgium for one year to do voluntary work - so far that was one of the best years of my life. I travelled a lot I met lot of amazing people. At this moment I'm back in Riga, working in floating art gallery.

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

First time I got to know about CS from my boyfriend - he often brought home strangers from all over the world and told me that this person is going to sleep on our couch for couple of days. Afterwards I started to use CS more and more by myself, now I regularly host surfers and also surf by myself, because it is so nice to meet locals in their city.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

So far I have only good couch surfing experience, I have hosted lot of people here in Riga and in Belgium and other couch surfers have welcomed me in their houses. I think couch surfing is a brilliant brilliant brilliant idea!

兴趣

I like to play music with different instruments, but somehow lately don't have so much time to do that.

I'm also interested in different types of cultural events and culture by it self.

Actually I like so many things - cooking delicious food, watching movies, nice walks in all seasons, seaside, animals especially dogs, plants, painting (but I suck on it), drink nice vine, bear with friends, listen others playing, sometimes watch TV when it's raining....

Really like Tarantino movies.. almost all of them are watchable. Sometimes I like to watch those silly american love movies, but only sometimes!

我做过的一件不可思议的事情

All last year was amazing for me. My job in Belgium was to be a teacher to small children- I think they are amazing and the feeling to teach some one something is amazing. And even more amazing is when after a hard exhausting day 3year old child comes to you and says "I like you Laima"
