Nous sommes deux étudiants québécois. J'étudie la littérature et Harun, la politique. Nous adorons voyager et rencontrer de nouvelles personnes! / We both are students. I study literature and Harun studies politics. Travelling is our passion!

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

Laïna : J'ai fait du CS en France (Tours, Dijon, Montpellier et Nice), à Londres, en Espagne, au Portugal, en Belgique et en Grèce. Je crois que le couchsurfing est une partie intégrante du voyage! Ça change tout en fait! Ça permet de découvrir le pays d'une autre façon.

Je n'ai jamais accueilli de couchsurfers chez moi, malheureusement. Mais j'aimerais bien! // I surfed in France (Tours, Dijon, Montpellier, Nice), in London, in Spain, in Portugal, in Belgium and in Greece. Couchsurfing is part of the trip! I had good experiences everywhere.

Unfortunately, I never hosted someone! I'd like too though!

Harun : CS is a different way to discover the "real" world and to discover new culture.
Each Surfing gonna be different, a different way of travelling!

J'ai déjà voyager avec CS en France, en Côte d'Azur, c'était une expérience enrichissante!

Interests

Laïna : Literature: (that's what I study). I like french literature, it's my favorite actually. I'd like to learn more about Russian literature.
My favorite author is Milan Kundera. Lately, I discovered Henri Lopes. He is great too!
Languages: I used to study languages. I used to speak spanish but I forgot almost everything because I didn't practice. Same thing happened with German! I want to learn Bosnian and Italian.
Cultural stuff and travel: I think that the greatest thing when you go in another country is to meet people and learn about their culture!
Food: I really like to taste new things! :)
Sugar.

I like to travel, my dream is to travel around the Europe and The Asia!
I like music, and sport.

Music, Movies, and Books

Laïna :
Movies: I love girlish love movies, superheroes movies. I hate action-gun-mafia movies. I used to watch a movie every two-three days.
Music: I like old bands my parents listened, british bands, commercial music on the radio.
Books: I like every kind of books but since I'm studying literature, I'm not easily impressed and I don't really like commercial books. But, a refreshing cute story is always fun to read...

Books: Not really my passion, but i like politics and philosophy books

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Laïna :
J'ai vu Paris du haut de Notre-Dame. C'est magnifique. Nous avons monté je-ne-sais combien de marches (très vieilles et usées). C'était une très belle expérience! J'ai aussi vu Rome du haut du Vatican. Les escaliers...!! Oh mon dieu! PLus on monte, plus elles sont petites! C'était la galère pour redescendre!

I saw Paris from the top of Notre-Dame de Paris. It was amazing. I had to climb I-don't-know-how-much steps. It was so old. Awesome!

Walking in Paris for the first time. Paris is the first european city I visited. Every thing is so old yet so beautiful.

Carcassonne. I felt like a medieval princess, it was awesome. Carcassonne is so beautiful!

Je veux être prof plus tard. Je serais donc très heureuse de vous enseigner ce que je sais et vice-versa! // It would be a pleasure to teach you anything I know and vice-versa!
