About Me
Hey surfers!
I am Ryan and I am 25 from Texas! Just so you know I do not own a horse but I know how to ride and I can rope with the best of them! I am finishing up my Accounting BA minoring in Finance. In the meaning time I bartend at a country music bar. So I do know how to teach some of the country dancing , do not be afraid to ask. I played lots of sports growing up but also had a love for theater and classical music. So falling into couchsurfing has been something of a new thing. I usually am doing most of the traveling so its really hard to host. Hopefully one of y'all reading this will be the first. All of my friends are my local surfers, they can show you the ropes ha.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I am on CS because I love meeting new people, whether you just message back and forth for travel ideas, to actually setting up a meet up and getting out there and traveling. I have a big trip planned in July-January and will hopefully be using some couches to surf on while I journey. I am pretty open and progressive so this idea of travel and meeting others is right up my alley.
Interests
I love sports, I can just about watch every single of the sports played around the world. I certainly love to try new things so the love of friendly competition is welcomed. I love food and learning new ways to cook, even though I am not very good at it. Traveling is a bug I have yet to shake and learning new things from others and hearing their stories is something I enjoy. I enjoy being outdoors and hanging out in the outside environment. Camping, boating, swimming, fishing, climbing, caving, hiking, yoga, meditation. There are so many aspects of life that I love, I cannot put them all into a description box. One of my strongest qualities in my ability to conversate, making lifelong friends, and learning what someone has to offer. Long conversations of coffee, tea or even a beer. I love cigars, and scotch if you really want to sit and have a conversation. To meet up people from all over world. Listen there experience. I prefer to eat at home either I cook or suggest couch surfer to cook dishes at home, to have experience of their food.

Music, Movies, and Books
I am not a huge book reader, but I do browse a few books on my ereader when I am laying in bed. I do not really follow any particular author but I do enjoy novels set in previous time periods. Most of them set in the 1800s.
I am a big movie watcher, not much of a critic but I mostly agree with rotten tomatoes .
Comedy movies are high on the list, but recently I watched Mad Max Fury Road. It was amazing.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
I have saved someones life via CPR. It was one of the most surreal moments and most rewarding experiences. Nothing is as precious as life and feeling like you've preserved one, you cannot really describe it.
