About Me

I am a free bird so I simply can not imagine living without seeing everything. I like to think about myself that I'm a friendly, optimistic guy, I really like to know new people ( i know - what a surprise, I join CS) and new things. but if I have to use only one word to describe me it would be "extrovert" - without people next to me, I would die of sadness. My friends say that I am charismatic and kind. I suffer when I have nothing to do so I always try to come up with something, usually, I am doing 2 or 3 things at the same time.

For the moment I am doing my MBA at University of Chicago. And I'm trying to get away from the winter!

I enjoy reading about places I would subsequently travel to as that makes things more fascinating. I am also fond of ping-pong, swimming, cooking/Baking and singing.

I've worked with people from 6 continents. #PenguinsNext

I make the meanest cocktails: my friends love my "Indie-Gin"

PHILOSOPHY

"think. belive. dream and dare" Walt Disney

and most of all "Hakuna Matata"! (Also write “Hakuna matata” in your first line so that i know you’ve read my profile.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

If I stay at hostels/hotels, then traveling would just be about getting a lot of tickets to various monuments. People are more interesting and fun. Couch surfing makes it easier to see the world through the eyes of locals!

Music, Movies, and Books

Music is the one true universal language. Rap, Hip-hop, Folk, Rock, Country, I listen to ALL music. Doesn't even have to be a language, I know. My favorite is jumping on the bed to the tunes of Bella Ciao!

Books- PG Wodehouse, Oscar Wilde, , Man's search for meaning in life, Infinite Jest, Book Thief, A Thousand Splendid Suns, Virginia Woolf, Carl Sagan

Movies- My Cousin Vinny, The Biglebowski, The Notebook,

TV series- Love watching light comedy, thrillers

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

-- Ever wondered why your actual voice sounds so different from a recording? That's because when we talk/sing, we hear ourselves via both ears and bone vibrations. While this ended my singing career (:D), I received 3rd prize for building a bone conduction hearing device for people with damaged eardrums. It's the same technology they use in audio sunglasses.

-- Organized the biggest cultural/Music Festival in my town

Teach, Learn, Share

Indian food and culture, a few songs and jokes!

I'm not as boring as my profile may sound. I have also learned how to cook, and I am willing to share what Iknow! Talking is one of my favorite things to do, whether frivolous or meaningful, I can do it all. But I prefer to talk of substance, even if painful to the conscience.

I have been into theatre, debating and have also studied human psychology so there is quite a diverse range of topics I can talk on..........but I also like to listen haha. :)

When it comes to dancing, I have a simple mantra: 90% confidence and 10% technique. I once turned a deserted biker club in Vienna into a Bollywood disco!
