ABOUT ME

I'm 21 years old and a student at the University of Alabama. My home is in Connecticut, but I wanted a change of scenery for college. My degree is in anthropology with a minor in spanish. My passions include traveling, singing (opera), dancing (hip-hop), drinking good wine, eating delicious food, reading novels, watching movies, oil painting, biking, skiing, and simply just enjoying the company of close friends and family.
I would love to work with some sort of Humanitarian Aid company after I graduate; I am applying for the Peace Corps at the moment...
I have studied in Madrid, Spain and Aberdeen, Scotland and next year I will be spending a semester in Mendoza, Argentina! There is nothing I love more than meeting new and interesting people from all over the world. I joined couchsurfing to meet some people in Mendoza before I go because it would be great to already know some people once I arrive. :-)

climbing to the top of Ben Lawers in Scotland...spring weather at the bottom of the mountain...snow at the top. It was a challenge for me, but it was amazing once I made it all the way up!
