About Me
ABOUT ME
Am happiest when am being challenged and immersed and intrigued, meeting, seeing, playing, smelling, hearing, tasting, touching, hugging, learning. Learning to try to understand where others are coming from and trying not to judge that. I've found that this combination most often happens when I am travelling and so I try to get on the road as often as possible. Trying to find that delicate balance between work and travel is always a challenge.
I've started mostly travelling by bicycle for the last couple of years. I love the slow pace that lets you meet people, the small roads, the hidden forests, the amazing views from the top of a long climb and flying down the other side, the early mornings when markets are busy, the secret campsites, the freedom.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
Am living in a caravan at the moment, so no couch, but as soon as I have one I will be filling it with surfers asap
COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
I've done a fair bit of sleeping on couches, floors, boats, barns, backyards, frontyards and anywhere else I can over the past few years but I havent CouchSurfed yet. Not properly, thats organised through this site and all that. Not yet.
I've been invited to share a wonderful meal and then offered some cozy floorspace instead of the tent by a stranger at a lookout after discovering we were both members of CS.
I've also shared meals, coffee's and many beers with other couchsurfers. Beers and music in Sarajevo, Revival in NYC, free hugs in union square, thanksgiving dinners, theatre productions. Good times, good people.
