About Me

CURRENT MISSION

Life is about the collection of experience you have and how you grow from them. My mission is to some day be a very big man.

ABOUT ME

It's about reinventing yourself. Don't be defined by your job, life is a series of experiences that are held together by the people you meet along the way. It's more rewarding to bump into an old friend you haven't seen in years in an unexpected place; whether it be Red Square or the local Safeway. It's a moment like this where the light bulb goes on and you realize the it is "a small world after all" - and the more you get out there and live it, the more likely you are to know yourself.

I have secured a job with a large airline working 1 day per week. That allows me to travel all over the world on my days off. I have met some pretty amazing people along the way. Thank you to those I've met along the way for contributing to the charmed life I live.

PHILOSOPHY

"There aren't any small parts, only small actors - so make sure to live life big and learn as much as possible"

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

Pretty new at all this

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

First time couch surfing and I enjoyed it quite a bit. I was curious as to why my host invited me to stay with me. He said that he was curious about my background and that someone my age would be surfing. Good question so I thought I'd answer it here. I took on couch surfing as a way to meet local people. Throughout my life time I have been fortunate enough to travel a lot. I find that when I stay in a hotel my experiences are more limited then when I stay with friends or friends of friends. I also like meeting people of all ages. I recently completed a masters degree where almost everyone in my class was under 30. I found that their ideas and perspectives on live were vibrant and thought provoking. Since I'm in a place that I have no real responsibilities anymore, I have more in common with younger people then people my age.
