i'm a nice, well-dressed jack of all trades/master of none. i'm a pretty good cook and workout fiend (have to cancel out all of my test tasting somehow), and i work full-time at a newspaper (HOLLAAA newspapers are NOT dead)

as far as music, literally everything. some favorites: miley, slightly stoopid, calvin harris, UB40, johnny cash, drake, lindsey stirling, boyz II men, don omar, miranda lambert, robyn, B.o.B.

i don't watch many movies, but i love tv shows. some favorites: gossip girl, skins, 30 rock, homeland, new girl.

i adore reading. some recent favorites: jersualem: a cookbook, the master and maragarita, hidden america, the book of summers, quiet: the power of introverts in a world that can't stop talking, babylon revisited and other stories.

in june 2011, I stayed with a friend's family in bursa, turkey. the food was TO DIE FOR and I've never been able to recreate those damn sarma my friend's mom made. one day.

i can teach you to shoot a gun, dress well and wear flattering makeup, speak a little russian, build a fire, and cook some delicious things (I'm a master at turkish, mexican and dutch dishes, and working on my indian!).
