My goal is to learn every language, go everywhere, and meet eveyone. It may be unrealistic, but I will do it.

ABOUT ME

I like to think that I'm very positive, and try to be optimistic most of the time. I love to laugh and spend hours just sitting outside with good people having good conversations. I also love to dance, however horrible of a dancer I may be. Honesty is absolutely the most important thing to me.

PHILOSOPHY

I think the closest thing I can truly put into words to my personal philosophy is honesty, which is the most important trait in myself and is what I look for in others. As I see it, all we can do in any given situation is be honest with ourselves and the people around us and let everyone act according to the truth.

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I love hosting in Dakar. I love meeting new people, and giving travelers a place to take a warm shower, sleep on a real mattress, and drink a cup of brewed coffee in the midst of a sometimes pretty uncomfortable place to travel. I love Senegal and the city of Dakar, and love to share my experiences in and enthusiasm for such a wonderful place.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I stayed with couchsurfers during my trip to Paris before heading to Dakar and had an amazing time! I've been hosting here in Dakar, and my visitors are consistently really great people.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I took a 26 hour bus ride from Dakar, Senegal to Kayes, Mali. It was 100º plus for most of the ride, and while it was pretty horrible, I talked to the most incredible people and ended up thinking back on that bus ride as one of the best parts of the trip.
