I'm a Canadian who moved to San Francisco 2 years ago to work for one of my favorite companies. I'm passionate about technology, self-improvement, and learning. I'm a fun and easy going guy, and love sharing experiences with people from around the world.

I've been craving a solo trip for a while, and this time I've set my sights on Japan. I'll be there for 2 weeks in November, and I'd love to spend time with some locals!

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

Easy -- the people.

I first Couchsurfed in back in 2011 when I was in college and fell in love with it. Originally in search of a cost-effective way to travel through Switzerland, I was blown away by the generosity of my hosts and the fun we had together.

Whether it was cooking cheese fondue in Lucerne with Mathias, biking through the streets of Bern with Mila, or teaching an impromptu English class at Greg's school in Geneva, these are people and memories I will literally never forget.

Couchsurfing is a magical thing, and I can't wait to do it again.

- I've played drums for 10+ years and used to play in band called Birthday Girls :)
- I've gotten into cooking a lot more this year and love it. Soups are my specialty.
- I'm into bodyweight fitness, and am currently trying to master my handstand.
