Overview
About Me
I'm not originally from Toronto, but I've been living here for about 8 years now, so I know the city pretty well. Maybe I'm biased, but I really love this city I live in. There's always something great to do, no matter what you're looking for.
I studied photography but will be applying to nursing school next year to become an RN. Somewhere in between photography and nursing I became a nanny. Don't ask me how I got there. Life works in funny ways.
I hate talking about myself. Come stay on my couch and I might tell you more. :)
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I was introduced to the wonderful world of Couch Surfing several years ago while working as an au pair in the Netherlands. I've had many amazing, fun and weird (in a good way) experiences because of this community, both hosting and being hosted (as well as finding roommates!). I think it's amazing how people will open up their homes to strangers so they can deliver them a little slice of their home city. It kinda restores your faith in humanity a little bit. ;)

Music, Movies, and Books
Music: trance, deep house, electro, synth wave, synth pop... I like a lot of electronic music. Aside from that, some favourite bands: Matthew Good, City and Colour, July Talk, Radiohead, Depeche Mode, Miami Horror, Arcade Fire, No Doubt.
Authors: Douglas Coupland, Irvine Welsh, Chuck Palahniuk.
Movies: scary horror movies, zombie movies, spoof horror movies, comedies, documentaries. I know that's pretty general, but there are too many to list.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Two years ago, three friends and I traveled across Canada in an RV, from Toronto to Vancouver, down the coast of the United States to Burning Man (and back).
Teach, Learn, Share
I can teach you some funny Dutch swear words, how to hula hoop, or show you some great parties in Toronto.
