Overview
About Me
Before moving to Madison and starting Veterinary Med & Public Health school I traveled and volunteered around SE Asia (Borneo, Thailand, Laos, the Philippines, Cambodia, Malaysia, Indonesia, etc.). Returned to the States around Xmas '13 and sojourned around my old stomping grounds while prepping for graduate. Domestically I've lived in Nashville, Asheville, Portland, and Denver.
I'm a backpacker, adventurer, snowboarder, biker, yogi, meditator, beer & wine drinker, lover of food, lover of fruits, semi-retired Ultimate Frisbee player. I seek travel by car, foot, bike, train, plane and ship.
PHILOSOPHY
"Let the soft animal of your body love what it loves."
"Tell me, what do you plan to do with your one wild and precious life."
Both Mary Oliver.
Also, "living like weasels."

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
I've surfed 4 continents now and met some mighty fine folk through hangouts, potlucks, and surfing. Great way to expand your knowledge of humanity.
Interests
Getting there, going slowly, finding adventure along the way. Learning constellations and attempting night photography. Making friends with animals and volunteering along the way. Enjoying a lazy sun and a picnic with friends. Moto-excursions, mountains to climb, flowers to smell. I'm game for most anything and particularly if it comes with hilarity and/or conversation.
