CURRENT MISSION

Get to know Vietnam and Laos! Learn everything we can about their culture, cooking tips (yummy!) and of course visit every little town that we come across on the road. After that, we plan to move to Germany!

ABOUT ME (us!)

Hi there, we are Laura and Charly, two biologists in love with humans, nature and travelling. After a lot of work, we decided that it was the moment to do again what we love the most: travel the way we like, taking the time we need to spend to really know the places that we visit and learn about different ways of living. We have been living in Italy for some months where we made some beautiful friends and now we are looking forward to meet more people from all over the world.

We have hosted travellers and we have also surfed sometimes when travelling.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
Nothing compares with the experience of CS. We had the most memorable experiences by sharing with people that otherwise we wouldn't have met. CS allows us to travel the way we love, getting to know the places we visit throw the point of view of their people. It gives us the opportunity to share our experiences and learn from others with completely different backgrounds.

Interests

We enjoy outdoor activities like cycling, kayaking and trekking. But what we enjoy the most is travelling and meeting new friends! Laura also loves reading, going to the theatre, singing and tai chi. Charly likes cooking, playing the guitar and Kung Fu. Together we are learning tango (an argentinian dance) and many languages. We believe that languages teach so much about the culture where they are spoken, and usually learning new ways of saying something brings new perspectives! We also enjoy to perform together (guitar and voice), and love to invite musicians to join us! Charly is an excellent cook! In everyplace he visits, he asks permission to enter the kitchen to learn new recipes!

Music, Movies, and Books

We love music! tango, jazz, rock, pop, classical, folckore, any kind actually.

We have very different taste in movies, so sometimes is hard to find out what to watch together. We expect to learn more about movies from different countries!

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

We travelled alone for 40 days around China communicating with people mainly in Mandarin (and signs, of course!)
