Overview
About Me
I grew up in Vietnam and I came to America for college and graduate studies. I'm earning my master's degree in Physics at Penn State University.
I was never an active and curious child when I was young; however, ever since I came to the US, I have grown to love travelling and doing outdoors activities. I love hiking, rock scrambling, bouldering (I have only climbed indoors), and going on spontaneous trips to cities and towns within the US! America has so many faces to it, and every city I visited is a gem in its own way, thanks to the local people who make up the culture there.
I love good conversations and discussions about multiple aspects of being a human. Emotions, philosophy, morals, connecting with one's own internal self, and all that good stuff. I like that this kind of conversations can range anywhere from light to deep and real. I'm a strong advocate of, well, being an advocate of one's own beliefs, but I also like to evaluate a problem from multiple positions. Borderline is that I LOVE exploring the human experience with other humans through good conversations. I also love writing and reading on these subjects.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
Couchsurfing is such a good way to meet local people, which I love doing! I have travelled to Japan where I lived with a Japanese family, so I know how valuable and enriching it is to be able to live with someone from that place.
